A meeting was held on 11-13 October 2002 of six 7th cousins in the Majority USA Roper (MUR) family for a discussion of the Roper family genealogy for Roper families that originated in the USA in the state of Virginia and to plan the Roper Union II meeting on 10-12 October 2003.
